More about the Judith Montgomery Family...

Not only does this family group sing, Judith plays the piano while Megan and Graham play sweet notes on dual trumpets for an instrumental song during their program. Judith has been writing songs since she was a child. Her daughter, Megan, is following in her footsteps. Judith and Megan penned 2 originals on their newest Chapel Valley project titled, “Starboard Side”. JMF has had the honor of singing in the following states: IN, MI, OH, KY, TN, VA, FL, IL , AR, WI, MO, NC, and SC. They travel where God opens doors for their ministry to spread the gospel. This family has been out traveling for over 25 years. Last year, JMF traveled over 14,000 miles ministering for God and booked over 100 dates. You will find JMF’s 45-minute concerts encouraging and inspiring to the listener in churches, gymnasiums, or outdoors. They have ministered in song for revivals, weddings, banquets, funerals, fairs, festivals, and special occasions as well. Late November and December, you will find this family group singing at Christmas in the Smokies and in February taking their music to the seas during a Cruise to the Bahamas. When you schedule this anointed Southern Gospel trio to come minister, they minister with their own high-tech sound equipment and a professional sound engineer, Marold Montgomery (Judith’s husband), to give you high quality concerts. You can schedule their ministry on a Free Will love offering basis.

Judith Montgomery

Ministry Involvement: Started JMF ministries over 25 years ago as a Soloist. I sing lead, alto, and soprano. I enjoy songwriting and managing the bookings.

Salvation Testimony: I was raised in a Christian home and was saved at a young age. I have been involved in church all my life!

Favorite Scripture: Psalms 104:33 “I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.”

Favorite Color: Red

Singing History: My dad and mom sang in local revivals before and after I was born. I was raised in a home that listened to and sang Southern Gospel Music and that was all the music I knew growing up. I fell in love with it! I can remember begging God to teach me how to play the piano also. Over the years, God has granted me my request. When I was first married, a local singing group needed a pianist. When they found out I could also sing, I was placed into the group as a soprano vocalist/pianist. Over time, I sang in 3 local groups before God called me out to sing as a soloist. When I answered the call to sing solo, it was a hard decision, but I knew God’s calling. God has been faithful to me over the years. I can remember people asking me to fill positions in other groups, but every time I prayed about it, God always said “no”. I never dreamed that I would be singing as a trio with my own children down the road of life. I am so grateful and greatly blessed to have my family singing ministry!

Singing History: I was around 8 years old when I started singing lead on one song in my mom’s concerts. My voice went through a change and I had to be pulled for a couple years while Mom and Megan continued as duet. When I was 15 years old, mom decided that it was time to learn how to harmonize as well as sing lead. This was not an easy task but the practice has paid off! My time in the Chapel Valley Studio has been a wonderful teacher experience! I now sing with my mom and sister full time in the trio.
